ITFF 2015: CLOSES THE FESTIVAL FULL OF GREAT GUESTS. READ ALL WINNING WORKS

It ends with an amazing kermesse full of guests led by actress and TV presenter Veronica Maya, the fourth edition of the International Tour Film Festival which this year was held for the first time in Civitavecchia (Rome) completely renovated.

Here are the winners of the various categories of the competition.

The prestigious ITFF awards were awarded this year to Giuliana De Sio real icon of Italian cinema and guest star of the first evening, to the actor Carlo Delle Piane, to Maestro Umberto Scipione, to the director Dario Albertini and the supervisor of visual effects Gianluca Dentici.


The Festival, organized and promoted by the cultural Civita Film Commission, whose Chairman Piero Pacchiarotti, and Vice President Costanza Saccarelli, is designed to promote the use of film art as a factor of promotion and cultural development, enhancing the role dialogue between different cultures and giving special attention to the exploitation of the works of the young authors. The direction of this ambitious edition, with a international scope, was given to Costanza Saccarelli festival director, flanked by the technical director Andrea Donato, while Piero Pacchiarotti also maintained for the event the position of Chairman. The ITFF has a format that is repeated constantly, even with the innovations that are introduced annually.


The first novelty of this 2015 edition was characterized precisely by its international character thanks to participation as artistic director Luc Toutounghi, President of Se.Ma.For Lodz, the oldest Stop Motion Animation Studios in Europe . Also this year's edition has opened a new, fun perspective represented by the introduction of the first edition of the "Shootin' Tour", a contest for short films short entered in the special section dedicated to promoting local tourism.

This year the competition was held in a location of extraordinary beauty, Arbatax Park, on the Ogliastra peninsula in Sardinia, June 9 to 13. The winner of this first edition (Passo Torrau by Valerio Cappelli, who attended the final night) has been declared by a jury presided by director Giorgio Capitani exception and together with other short films made, were the protagonists of the event in the "Tourism Promotional Movies".


Many other prestigious guests have been protagonists of ITFF. First of all Giuliana De Sio wonderful guest star of the Opening; Moreover, the beautiful and talented Japanese actress Jun Ichikawa who led the first evening of the Festival, the great director Giorgio Capitani and between the faces emerging actor Marius Bizau. The festival was enriched by events, workshops and cultural programming. During nine days, the spotlight has been trained on several high-profile personalities such as Anthony Christov artistic director of of Pixar Studios, the Albanian director Roland Sejko, winner of the David di Donatello award in 2013 for best documentary feature category for "Anijia" and French producer Olivier Catherin.Andrea Baglio, actor, director and youtuber has instead made a decisive contribution to the festival also conducting some important evenings.


Therefore, an issue particularly varied, with a view capable to meet the needs of a wider audience as possible, following a common thread that today has brought the event to obtain the prestigious status of International Festival. The closing ceremony was sober and slender with a very interesting musical interlude of DUO ORPHEUS consisting of the soprano Francesca Romana Iorio and guitarist Giovanni Cernicchiaro and reserved one last major surprise; the last edition of this special award ITFF 2015 awarded the Art Director of PIXAR Anthony Christov who with his characters (Toy Story, Nemo and Cars) to dream young and old from all over the world ...


This year, the International Tour Film Festival has consolidated its partnership with Amnesty International, dedicating an entire evening to the defense of human rights. The ITFF, recognized by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism as "event of national interest", is held under the patronage of the Council of Ministers, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, EXPO 2015, the Lazio Region, Istituto Luce - Cinecitta, Yearbook of Italian Cinema and Audiovisuals, Italian National Syndicate of Film Journalists, Rufa (Rome University of Fine Arts), the town of Civitavecchia, Port Authority of Civitavecchia, Amnesty International and the founding CA.RI.CIV. In this edition they have also joined the municipalities of Santa Marinella, Santa Severa, Allumiere, Tolfa, and two foreign countries, Poland and Austria.
